We optimize production equipment to build a better future for American manufacturing using Rockwell Automation. This project used Studio 5000 and Ignition as a SCADA System!
In this case study, we retrofit an existing system that was installed in 2020 by another company. We first looked at all the existing controls, pumps, valves, and flow meters that were not working or working per design, and fixed them. Most of the drives and overload relays were on Devicenet, leaving several drives and motors out of service because the mill was unable to fix them. Our first task was to get these items working before we started the retrofit, so we were not building on a weak foundation from a controls perspective.
Simply put, we optimize the current automation of the wastewater plant to increase your productivity.

Our Services
On this project, we specialized in Studio 5000 by upgrading the PLC master file from version 30 to version 33. We also upgraded their Igniton gateway from 7.9 to 8.1.50 to provide a more reliable system.
Inductive Automation Ignition Integrator
We were able to minimize the downtime for the Ignition gateway upgrade from 7.9 to 8.1.50 in less than a day, which was a planned downtime to minimize any risks
